This is your chance to try out D&D for the first time, test out a new class you’ve never tried before, or just play D&D with friends for free! We will be offering two 2-hour adventures that will show you all the fun and excitement roleplaying games have to offer!
Hello adventurers! It’s unfortunately been sad times for you and your village - crops have failed, livestock stand in your fields like statues, and the rain, when it comes, has been full of frog eggs. A nearby mage has determined that your idyllic town has been cursed! Oh no! Luckily, you have all heard that a sage named Matreous has been studying at Candlekeep these kinds of afflictions, and you’ve been sent to fetch the information. You know that this giant library has withstood the test of time and is a vibrant learning community in Faerûn, but it also holds many mysteries. Who knows what will happen! Well hopefully help for your village. Hopefully!
This is an adventure for 1st-level characters. If you want to make your own character beforehand, any published Wizards of the Coast 5e character options are fine; Point Buy or Standard Array is preferred for ability score generation. There will also be pre-made characters available if you would like to just come and play!
